I started my journey to moving to a whole new country alone at 20 years old. I had always been eager to study abroad, but I had no idea what was in store for me. Did I know Italian? Nope. Did I know the culture? Nope. All I had was my suitcase and I.....(wicked reference, ik I'm cringe). But this was only the beginning. I had to face my first obstacle, which was the worst one: carrying a 50-pound suitcase up 3 flights of stairs ALONE. Now you're probably thinking I must have asked a neighbor nearby to help you, right? That would be the smart thing to do, but being the independent and stubborn girl that I am, I took 30 minutes...BUT I persevered!!
